1st couple days of Ohio Vacation

We spent two weeks in McConnelsville, Ohio at the beginning of July visiting Garrett's parents and his sister, Meggin and her family. They have a little farm and it's a nice place to go and slow down and relax and enjoy life. Meggin and her husband Jacob have two little girls. Celeste is 2 1/2 and Amelia is a little older than Noah. This was our first time meeting little Amelia--she is a cutie! The girls were excited to have cousins to play with.

July 2nd
Fly to Ohio.  Jim and Meggin pick us up from the airport.  Eat at Steak and Shake for dinner and then stop at a fireworks store on the way home.
July 3rd
The first day we were there, we slept in and hung around the house. Grandma and the girls made biscuits and gravy for breakfast.  Garrett pulled his old Construx set out of the attic and he and Lydia played with that for awhile.

Then the girls headed outside and climbed the tree in the yard. (with Garrett's help).
Then Uncle Jacob and Aunt Meggin came over and brought squirt guns and the fight was on...

Then Grandma started a sing-a-long...

That night we went to Zanesville to watch the fireworks. Hands down, these were THE BEST fireworks I've ever seen. What a finale!!

July 5th
Grandpa and Noah just relaxin'
While Garrett and I slept in way too long...the girls went swimming

Then we went over to one of their good neighbor's house to go swimming.
Noah loved the water and didn't want to be confined in the little water chair. He kept trying to crawl out to get to the water!
