Sunday May 3rd
We went over to Jim and Georgia's after church to hang out and have dinner. They had this box for Garrett that they said was his birthday present. Turns out it was all his toys that they were holding for him from his childhood. He had a great time looking through all his GI Joe stuff!
Noah loved going through it all with Garrett, too!
He found a plane that he flew most of the day!
Enjoying their yard on a warm, sunny day!
Noah flying 'his' new plane.
Their yard has the most beautiful flowers!

In Oregon, 6th graders get to go to "Outdoor school" for 3 days. They usually head to the beach and stay in some cabins and learn about nature in nature. They always have such a blast! They have high schoolers as counselors and sleep in cabins and have fires and hike trails at night. Pretty cool if you ask me!
Lydia and her group of friends as they are about to get on the bus and head to the coast. She was pretty nervous about it, but still excited!
Her and best friend Kali on the bus.

Wednesday May 6th
Lydia got back today in the afternoon and was pretty tired, but I still made her go to mutual. We were doing some service at a food bank and I thought it was important that she went.
Laura, Maggie, Emma and Lydia getting ready to handle some food.
The only thing we did for an hour and a half was bag up corn and then put the bags into boxes.
It was good--I've never worked at a food bank, so I'm glad we got the opportunity to do it!
Friday May 8th
Paige had another field trip...this one was at the Oregon Historical Society.
I love how she always takes a picture of herself on the bus.
That night was also the Father/Sons camp out for our ward. Garrett took Noah and Jim and they decided to sleep in a tent. This is Noah's friend Eli from preschool and church.
Eating s'mores.
Garrett said that Noah was BEYOND EXCITED to be sleeping in a tent. He's never experienced that before and thought it was the coolest thing.
Garrett texted me these pictures that night and my heart melted at the cuteness of my 2 boys having a fun night together!
Something woke Noah up really early--like at 6 or so. Grandpa still trying to sleep.
They went for a walk in the woods and ended up taking silly face selfies. Those 3 are pretty crazy!
Taking stuff back to the car with grandpa
chopping some wood
He of course fell asleep on the way home. When he got up, it was pretty hot so he ran through the sprinklers. All the girls were gone, at birthday parties and at friend's houses and watching their friend at a dance competition.
Sunday May 10th
Mother's Day
I wasn't feeling very well this day...came home after sacrament meeting to rest. I ended up being sick for a good two weeks. It was like a cold/cough/flu thing. Anyways...most of the kids ended up getting sick in the following 2 weeks with stomach flu and colds too.
Garrett bbq'd for us and Jim and Georgia came over, too. Then we opened gifts outside.
opening cute cards from my kids
Georgia opening her cards. We each got a hanging flower basket.
They also got me this hummingbird feeder. Unfortunately I've only ever seen one or two hummingbirds since we got it, but it was a very cool gift idea.
This was right after church, before the bbq and I wanted a picture of me and all the kids. I'm not sure what was up with Noah.
Then I found a bunch of these pictures on my phone. What a goof! Gotta love him though!
Paigey made us this cute sign.
These are just 2 random pictures of the kids playing with Garrett.
