When we got home from Utah, we still had about a month before school started, so we were able to do a fun few things.
We went to Out of this World Pizza with some friends.
Aug. 15
They had a "Take your Kids to Work Day" on the 15th, so Garrett took the older 3 girls. They got their faces painted...
played in his cube...
they had some kind of Disney thing going on,
did oragami
played around, being a pirate?
and saw a cool robot
Noah, Bella and I went swimming. Yes, I actually got in the pool, but there will not be any pictures of that. Noah finally did, too.
And we had popsicles
Aug. 20
Picking peaches for jam, for canning and for yummy desserts.
Aug. 21
August 21st was an Intel Family BBQ. We had dinner there and they also had swimming and a band and other activities. I thought this one was a hoot. It's a water slide going down a steep hill. I didn't get a picture of the hill, but it was fairly big. They had a hose with water going down and they'd put a little soap on it every time someone went down. Lydia really wanted to do it and Noah did too. But they were the only ones out of our family. It looked quite fun; I guess I should've brought my suit.

They had a big swimming pool, but also a couple of small pools for the little kids. It was quite nice.
We also got to squeeze in one more camping trip before school started, but I'll cover that in the next post.
