Our second day was Sunday the 24th.
So in the morning, about half of us tracked down a nearby LDS church and went to sacrament meeting. After we got home and changed we decided we wanted to head down to the beach. They were having a Kite Festival there and this was the last day, so we wanted to check it out. The kites were so cool--I'd never seen kites shaped as animals and had no idea they were going to be so big!

The Guthries
We headed back to get some food and let the little kids take naps and then we went back to the beach in the evening to take family pictures. Originally, we were going to hire one of the many photographers that are in our ward to take our family pictures. But, Sunday was the only day that we were all going to be together since Alex had to leave early the next morning to go back to work. We didn't want to ask someone in our ward to miss church to take our pictures. So, we took our tripod and did our best. I thought they turned out pretty nice. This was like 6 in the evening and the sun was still really bright. The kids had a hard time with it.

"The Twins"
They are technically not twins, but they really could pull it off I think.
