Early in December, the girls decided to get all dressed up and put on a performance of Christmas songs. Maggie was the only one who didn't dress up though, which is why there aren't pictures of her. She accompianed them on the piano and sung a solo or two and also sang with the group. They had a whole program that they practiced at least 10 times during the day...no exaggerating. It was a great performance and I got it on video, but I still can't get the videos to work on blogger. My favorite performance was when they all sang Silent Night acapella. It was quiet and reverent and brought me to tears when I first heard them. It was really beautiful! Here are pictures of my beautiful girls before their performance. (We were waiting for Garrett to get home.)
This next picture may seem a little strange, but I've never seen anything like it, so I had to get a picture. I'm sure Paige will kill me later in life when she sees this crazy shot of her mouth. Anyways, one of her permanent teeth was coming in behind her baby tooth before the baby tooth fell out. It was a little bit loose, but didn't come out for a week or so after I took the pictures. She is going to need some serious dental work done! You may have to click on the pictures to enlarge them.
This is Noah about to eat cereal in his bumbo. We have since gotten out his highchair, since he got too messy while in his bumbo. Check out this kids smile, though. I'm sorry girls, but he is going to be a heartbreaker!!
The first and only time he's been in his Johny Jump-up. We just don't have a good place to hang it. This is the entrance to the pantry. Not the best spot, but he did like it.
I love this picture of Bella. Everytime she puts on a pair of sunglasses, she puts them on upside down. Classic!! This little one is such a character. Sometimes she tells us things and we just crack up. It's not necessarily what she says, but how she says it. Lots of times she tells us something and then right after she says, "I promise, I promise you." The other day in the bath, she about had me in stitches because, first of all she HATES getting her hair rinsed after I wash it. So, I was coaxing her to let me rinse her hair and out of the blue she says, "Well, this isn't any fun, is it? No." And she said it so 'matter-of-factly' and I have never heard her say it before and it was just so perfect for the situation that I busted out laughing. I know that it's one of those, "You had to be there" moments, but I just had to write it down so that I will remember it later. Anyhow, she's a hoot. I feel bad for my family at Christmas because Bella was all shy and quiet there (plus she was sick for part of the time, too) so they didn't get to see the real her. It's a shame because she is so talkative and funny. Anyways....everyone will have to take my word for it!
