Finishing up March, Easter

Wednesday March 23rd

This was the week of Spring Break, but we didn't do anything super fun.

Today we headed to Shute Park to take Lydia and Paige's birthday pictures.  Yes, it was March and their birthdays are in November and January.  I was way behind.  But, it's so hard to find the time and a decent place to take pictures in the winter when it's cold and raining all the time!

 That evening we went to see "Zootopia".  Such a cute movie!!

Thursday March 24th

Today we headed out to the mall to go dress shopping.  We were looking for Easter dresses, a Baptism dress and a prom dress.

 They must've had a "take your kid to work" day because Garrett took Noah for me so he wouldn't be terribly bored at the mall.  They played mini-golf and ate pizza.

When everyone got home, we all headed out to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner.  Every spring break, they have the kids come spend the night at their house for a night and do all sorts of fun stuff with them.  After dinner, Garrett and I left to go back to Cornelius and went to see a movie, "Superman vs. Batman." I didn't really care for it.  I didn't like Ben Affleck as Batman and I really love Superman, so had a hard time when he was getting beat up.  I thought that Wonder Woman was pretty cool--can't wait for her movie to come out.

Friday March 25th

I can't remember if Garrett took the day off or he had it off already.  We had a nice leisurely day together.  We slept in, had a nice breakfast, went to lunch at Corner Bakery and went to see "London has Fallen".  Then we went back to Yamhill to pick up the kids.  We went out to dinner with everyone at Trask Mountain Outpost (a local restaurant in Yamhill.) Then we headed back home.

Saturday March 26th
Easter weekend--dying Easter eggs

That night was the General women's meeting for the church.  All of us girls got dressed up and went to the Stake Center to listen.  When it was over, we went to dinner at Red Robin's. It was a fun night out with my girls.

Sunday March 27th

Easter Sunday

The Easter Bunny hid the baskets around the house...It took a bit of searching before everyone found theirs. 

Garrett and I and Maggie and Lydia all got tennis rackets.  We thought it would be fun to go and play as a family. 

After church, we went out to Yamhill to have dinner with grandma and grandpa.  We had to take a few pictures of everyone's Easter outfits first.

Then we had Easter Egg Hunts in the backyard.  It looks nice and warm out there, but it was really chilly!

Thursday March 31st

Garrett spotted this cool owl out in our backyard and took these great pictures of it.

These girls were watching him take pictures.  I thought it was a funny picture.
