Sunday March 1st
We went over to grandma and grandpa's house right after church for lunch. The trees and flowers were so pretty with their spring blooms.
Cute cowgirl Paige
hot tubbing!
Cute cowboy Noah. Garrett had just bought Noah the holster and some cap guns the day before. He wore that for days--everywhere he went. It was so cute!
Monday March 7th
Maggie decided to make a cake that day and Noah was her little helper.
Wednesday March 4th
Noah has been scared of jumping on the trampoline for years. Out of the blue one day he just started jumping and realized that it wasn't scary. He doesn't like it when there are a bunch of people on it, but at least he jumps by himself now. I've even got out and jumped with him sometimes, and he doesn't mind that.
Saturday March 7th
In Jim and Georgia's barn, there is a room upstairs that the previous owner used to use. I don't know what for, but it was carpeted and stuff and I'm sure at one time it was really nice. But, it hadn't been used in awhile and it was pretty musty, dusty and old up there. Garrett's siblings were going to be coming out to visit in May and July and so Georgia got the idea to turn it into a bunkhouse/hangout for the grand kids. She asked for our help to remodel it. So, Garrett took the kids out there to help rip out carpet and sand the walls and get it ready to paint and to put down new carpet.
Paige, Maggie and Lydia hard at work.
That brown stuff that Maggie is vacuuming is the old carpet.

Maggie took a break to practice her archery
They had to wear masks because of all the dust--grandpa was sanding the walls, so there was a lot of stuff in the air.

Done working, now they got to drive on the tractor
Beautiful trees in their yard

Sunday March 8th
We were back the next day having dinner with the grandparents. They are so good to us--having us over for dinner most Sundays. It's so yummy!! And the kids love riding on the tractor.
Thursday March 12th
We were a couple months late in getting Paige's birthday pictures taken. They sure turned out cute though. She's so beautiful and very photogenic!
Sunday March 15th
Once again we got invited over to Jim and Georgia's for Sunday Dinner. Since it was so close to St. Patrick's Day, she made us corned beef and cabbage. Something I have never had before. It was good--except the cabbage. Not a big cabbage fan. But, now I can say I've tried it. :) We didn't do anything else for St. Patrick's day. I was pretty lame this year.
Jim and Georgia have a trailer that was on the property when they bought it. Bill had been living in it when the previous owners lived there. So, they worked it out so he could continue living there. Anyways, he's a musician and when he heard that Maggie plays guitar a little and that Lydia just got a guitar for Christmas, he offered to give them some free lessons once in awhile. So far it's only happened once, but it was really nice of him to offer it. So, this was their first lesson. Maggie and Lydia both thought it was awkward. :)
Friday March 20th
Paige is in 4th grade and so they are busy learning about Oregon history. The 4th graders have lots of field trips--they had 10 in the spring. Wow! They went on a field trip to Fort Vancouver, Washington today. These are pictures of her good friend Ella on the field trip that Ella's mom took.

I love that Noah is Maggie's little helper when she bakes. It's so sweet. I loved the trees on the McKibben's yard! Gorgeous! Those are good pictures of Paige, especially the second one. That was my favorite. I'll bet that room's going to be really nice once it's done.
Paige's pictures are so cute! Nice to have grandparents so close! Especially when they have hottubs and tractors! :)
