The Weekend in between the Vacations

Saturday July 13th

Today, we were still getting things cleaned up from Yellowstone and we mostly hung out during the day.  We didn't take a lot of pictures though.  My sister Megan and her family came in today.  They had been visiting Steve's (Megan's husband) family in Sandy for the past couple of days.  Now they were here to join in our family reunion at Bear Lake.

 Noah and my niece Iris were trying to feed Ichabod (the cat) some mulch.  Too funny!

 After having tinfoil dinners for dinner, Garrett, Tad, my dad, Lydia, Noah, Grant, Micah and John went to watch a Demolition Derby.  They said it was awesome.  Noah especially loved it since he has this thing for cars right now.

The rest of us got the other kids in bed and then watched Skyfall.  

Sunday July 14th

This day, my niece Karlie and her fiance, Ty came up to Wellsville.  Since we had everyone here, we were taking another big family picture that evening.  Megan's good friend Laurie came with them because she is our photographer.  So, most of the day was spent hanging out.  My cousin Tyler and his family stopped by for awhile, too.

 We waited until the evening to go and get our pictures taken, so the sun wasn't beating down on us.  My parents and my sister Tiffany found this great spot for our backdrop, close to my parent's house.  These pictures are all of us waiting around for our turns because she also took separate family pictures.

 Poor Maggie for some reason, got really light headed and almost passed out.  She we had her lay in the grass for a little while and gave her crackers to eat.  Poor thing takes after her mother--a lot!  She was fine after that though.

After the pictures, we were supposed to be headed to Bear Lake because that's when our rental house started.  But pictures took a bit longer than we expected.  So most of us loaded our bags and headed to Bear Lake and didn't get there until after dark.  By the time we got everything in the house, toured the house and assigned bedrooms, it was close to midnight!  What a cool house it was though.  The kids were so excited, it was hard to get them to calm down to go to sleep.  

Tad and Megan and their families decided it was too late to go that night, so they stayed at my parent's house and came the next morning.  I love this picture of  Tad and Megan laughing at something.  They are so funny!
