Noah--all about showing his patriotism
Watching the parade: Bella, Paige, Lydia, Sydney and Maggie
Grandma and Grandpa McKibben
At home, shucking corn for our BBQ
Eating the strawberries for the strawberry shortcake
Watching while daddy sets off fireworks
After we were done with our fireworks, we were about to go in, but then some of the neighbors came out and started letting off their fireworks. Our neighbor to the right of us and and another one kitty corner to us, had gone over to Washington and bought some of the big boomers. They were setting those off right over our heads--it was SO LOUD, but so amazingly fun! It was better than going to any firework show. I am amazed that Noah slept through it.

Yeah for the 4th of July! Fun summer traditions!
Looks like a fun 4th! Bummer that we were all throwing up for the 4th. Who throws up in the summer?!
It's amazing what kind of fireworks they let you buy to set off these days. They are fun, though! However, this year we didn't do ANYTHING for 4th of July. We took Hayden down to soccer camp at IU that day. We were in a severe drought at the time, so fireworks were banned. It was kind of weird not doing anything.
