This year for Christmas, we were headed to Logan, Utah to spend Christmas with my entire family at my parent's house. Since nobody wanted to spend the money to ship their gifts back home, everyone had Christmas early at their own houses. We had our Christmas Eve on December 17th, with Santa's permission. We wrote a letter to the North Pole to explain our situation, and he wrote back saying that he'd be able to come a little early. It was pretty cool!
Our Christmas Eve was a little rushed because the kids had school that day and Garrett didn't get home from work until like 6pm or so. So after we had dinner, we opened Christmas jammies from Grandma and Grandpa Hansen, made sugar cookies for Santa, and then read from the bible and watched the short video, Luke 2. We also read "The Night Before Christmas" and then sent the kids off to bed.
Jammie time!! (Paige was in her old Christmas jammies because she stayed home from school with a cold)

Decorating cookies

Recreating the Nativity with Little People

Lydia was our reader for the evening

Christmas morning--notice our dead DEAD tree. Never buying one from a tree lot again!!

Paigey got the "Tangled" castle for her big gift from Santa

Maggie got a digital camera and two guitars. We got her one and Santa got her one. Oops!

Bella and her new doll with matching jammies. She also got a baby care center that's behind her.

Lydia playing with her playmobile carriage. Her big gift was an ipod touch.

Noah and his new hat--so cute!
We had a great Christmas and had a lot of fun as a family. We even went to go and see "Tangled" which is a really cute movie. The rest of the day was spent packing because we were leaving the next morning to drive to Utah.
